La matière utilisée pour ce démonstrateur GEM est un PS recyclé noir, un grade d'injection aux caractéristiques suivantes :  MFI 6-7g/10min, Izod entaillé grade 6-8 kJ/m².

DuPont™ Surlyn® 8020 is an ionomer of ethylene acid acrylate terpolymer. 

IONEX 8020 is a sodium ionomer, which offers : 
- a well balanced combination of stiffness, processability and flex-life properties

Characteristics:

Polystyrene is a polymer from the styrenics family that offers excellent transparency coupled with a very competitive cost. It has medium mechanical properties making PS rigid and brittle.
